We recommend booking an appointment to ensure we have time available for you. Walk-ins are always welcome, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but availability can’t be guaranteed during busy periods.

Pricing varies depending on the piercing and jewellery you choose, with options ranging from implant-grade titanium through to luxury solid gold jewellery.

Most piercings start from $90, including basic implant-grade titanium jewellery and NeilMed sterile saline aftercare.

Upgraded jewellery is available at an additional cost. We do not charge a separate piercing service fee when piercing with solid gold jewellery.

Arrive well rested, hydrated and make sure you’ve eaten before your appointment. Avoid arriving on an empty stomach, as eating beforehand can help you feel comfortable throughout the procedure.

If you’re feeling unwell, we recommend rescheduling your appointment so your body can focus on recovering before healing a new piercing.

Not every piercing is suitable for every anatomy. Our piercers will assess your individual anatomy before performing a piercing to ensure it can be placed safely and has the best chance of healing successfully.

If the piercing you want isn’t suitable for your anatomy, we’ll explain why and can recommend alternatives or create a piercing and jewellery curation designed specifically for you.

We perform all piercings using sterile, single-use piercing needles.

We do not use piercing guns or hand-pressure piercing devices. Using professional piercing needles allows us greater control over placement while supporting safe piercing practices and the use of high-quality body jewellery.

We use high-quality implant-grade titanium and solid 14k gold jewellery suitable for initial piercings, with internally threaded and threadless options available.

Jewellery is selected based on your anatomy, piercing placement and healing requirements.

Absolutely not.

If you prefer something simple, we offer polished implant-grade titanium basics as well as gems, opals, clusters and other decorative options.

For something more special, we stock an extensive collection of luxury solid gold body jewellery, allowing your new piercing to look beautiful from day one.

The only limitations are suitability for the piercing, your anatomy and safe healing.

We proudly stock luxury body jewellery from some of the world’s leading manufacturers, including BVLA (Body Vision Los Angeles), Buddha Jewelry Organics, Junipurr Jewelry and Auris Jewellery, alongside a carefully selected range from other premium jewellery makers.

Our collection includes implant-grade titanium and solid gold body jewellery, with genuine diamonds, precious and semi-precious gemstones available across selected pieces.

Yes. We offer custom jewellery order appointments, giving you dedicated time with our team to explore jewellery options and find or create the perfect piece.

We work with many of the world’s leading body jewellery manufacturers and can source or custom order pieces that aren’t currently available in the studio.

From rings, chains and charms to bespoke solid gold designs featuring genuine diamonds and precious gemstones, we can help you explore different designs, materials, gemstones and options to create something suited to your style and piercing.

Yes. We offer children’s earlobe piercing from 8 years of age using sterile, single-use piercing needles. We do not pierce infants.

Children need to be able to understand the procedure, communicate with their piercer, follow instructions and independently consent to being pierced.

We reserve the right to refuse a child’s piercing if we feel they are not ready to understand, consent to or participate in the procedure. Our priority is making their first piercing experience safe, comfortable and positive.

Our minimum age for children’s earlobe piercing is 8 years. As part of our studio policy, we do not perform piercings other than earlobes on anyone under 15.

Clients under 16 must attend with a parent or legal guardian and provide valid photo identification for both parties, along with proof of legal guardianship.

Clients aged 16 and over can consent to most piercings themselves with valid photo identification.

Nipple piercings, dermal anchors, bridge piercings and tongue piercings are strictly 18+.

Please check the individual piercing when booking for specific age and identification requirements.

Proper aftercare plays an important role in allowing your piercing to heal successfully.

Your piercer will verbally explain your aftercare at your appointment, and you’ll receive a card directing you to our Piercing Aftercare Guide on our website. The guide covers cleaning, healing, what to avoid and how to care for your piercing throughout the healing process.

Healing times vary depending on the piercing, your anatomy and how your body heals.

Many initial piercings are fitted with slightly longer jewellery to accommodate swelling and may require professional downsizing once the initial swelling has subsided, often around 4–6 weeks depending on the piercing.

Changing jewellery for aesthetic reasons should generally wait until the piercing has healed. If jewellery needs to be changed during healing, we recommend having it performed by one of our piercers using appropriate tools and jewellery.

Yes. If something doesn’t look or feel right, we encourage you to contact us or visit the studio so one of our piercers can assess the piercing and recommend the appropriate next steps.

If you suspect an infection or have symptoms requiring medical attention, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

An ear curation is a personalised approach to designing a collection of piercings and jewellery that work together across your ear.

We consider your anatomy, existing piercings, personal style, jewellery preferences and future piercing possibilities to create a cohesive design that’s unique to you.

Body Culture Piercing is located inside Salon Superstore at Harbour Town Adelaide.

The Southern Entrance is the closest entrance to the studio, with Salon Superstore located near the children’s playground, making us easy to find.

Free parking is available throughout Harbour Town.

No. We only perform initial piercings using jewellery supplied by Body Culture Piercing.

With jewellery purchased elsewhere, we’re unable to verify the material, quality, manufacturer or suitability for initial healing. By using jewellery supplied by our studio, we can ensure it meets our quality standards and is appropriate for your anatomy and the piercing being performed.

We offer a wide range of implant-grade titanium and solid gold jewellery, from simple options through to luxury designs, so there’s plenty to choose from for your new piercing.

Walk-ins are welcome for jewellery purchases, changes and downsizing; however, we recommend booking an appointment so we can ensure we have enough time to assist you.
